We are over at Bafna House on Pitamber Lane. If you know where the Bristol Bakery is in Mahim West, we are right next door to it. That bakery smell is something we get to enjoy every morning when we open up, which is a nice little bonus for us. Fortpoint Automotive has been in this little corner for a good while now. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t from around here, as the lanes in Mahim can get pretty narrow and packed with people. We handle cars, mostly just fixing things up and dealing with parts. The workshop gets really busy, especially on Monday mornings when everyone realizes their car had a problem over the weekend. Our space at 17/A isn't huge, so we have to be pretty smart about how we park the vehicles so we don't block the lane. The staff here mostly lives in the surrounding neighborhood, so we know the local shortcuts and the people around. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic and the bakery deliveries, but we like the spot. We don't spend any money on big billboards or ads. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign while passing by or heard about us from someone else. Sometimes the rain makes the whole lane a bit of a mess, but that’s just how Mumbai is. We just try to get the work done and get the vehicles back to their owners.
