Chirag Exports

You can find Chirag Exports on the 4th floor of Fountain Chambers. This is on Nanabhai Lane, right in the heart of the Fort area. Fort is full of these old buildings and narrow lanes, and ours is no different. It’s a bit of a walk up if the lift is slow, but it’s a good building with a lot of history. Being on the 4th floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise of the street, though you can still hear the city moving below. Nanabhai Lane is always crowded with people and small shops. Inside our office, things are pretty simple. We have wooden desks, some old filing cabinets, and our computers. We’ve been here for many years, so we have a lot of stuff tucked away in drawers. Our daily routine involves a lot of coordination for our export business. There is always a lot of paperwork to sort through and people to call at the ports. We don’t use any fancy technology, just what we need to get the job done right. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It’s a very traditional South Bombay office atmosphere. We know most of the other people in the building. It’s just a place where we put in our time and make sure everything is moving along as it should. There is always something new to deal with every single morning.
