We are located right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Grant Road in Mumbai. Specifically, we’re on the fifth floor of the Pakeeza Market Building on Ms Ali Road. It’s a very lively area with the market right below us. If you’re looking for the building, it’s right in front of the Bombay Restaurant and very close to Ali Tower. Being on the fifth floor, we are in Flat 501. It’s a bit of a trek up, but once you’re there, you’re away from most of the street noise. The space is used for tutoring students in various subjects. It’s a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight, but we’ve organized the rooms to fit as many students as comfortably as possible. The windows look out over the rooftops of the neighborhood. It’s a very old-school way of teaching, with lots of notes and talking through problems. We don’t have a fancy website or any corporate branding. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or friends at school. It’s a busy place, especially in the late afternoons when the school day ends and everyone arrives for their sessions. We keep things informal. The students feel comfortable enough to ask questions without being shy. It’s just a local tutorial center where we try to help kids get their grades up. Every day is different, but the focus stays on the books.
