We set up shop in G 9 of the Dhiraj Apartment in Mulund West. It’s on the ground floor, which makes it easier for moving the heavy filter units in and out. Being on the 1st Main Road means we get a lot of people stopping by just because they saw the sign. We make filters for all sorts of uses. Some are small, some are quite large and heavy. The workspace is filled with metal parts, mesh, and specialized fabrics. It’s a bit noisy when the assembly is going on, but we’re used to it. We aren't some massive factory; we just handle things from this ground-floor unit. We have a small area for the desk work and the rest is for the stock. Sometimes the boxes pile up so high we can barely see the back wall. We spend our days checking the seals and making sure the frames are sturdy. It’s a lot of manual checking. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. Most of our work comes from people who have bought from us before. We just try to make things that work and don't break. It’s simple, honest work. The apartment building is quiet enough most of the time, except for when the delivery trucks pull up. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know what we do. It’s a decent place to work from every morning.
