Feast India

Feast India has been around the Vejalpur area for a while now. We are located right on the road near But Bhavani Temple. It’s a busy spot in Ahmedabad, and we see a lot of people passing by every day. We didn't plan on opening a big place, it just kind of happened because we liked cooking for people. The kitchen is always noisy and there’s usually a bit of a crowd during the evenings. We serve a lot of local folks who live around the temple road. It’s not the kind of place with fancy tablecloths or anything like that. We have some tables and chairs, and the food comes out when it’s ready. Sometimes we run out of things if it’s a particularly busy Friday. Dealing with the heat in Ahmedabad while working over a stove isn't easy, but we’re used to it. We know most of our customers by name by now. They stop by for a quick bite or take something home for their family. We just focus on getting the flavors right. We don’t spend money on advertising or posters. Word of mouth seems to work fine for us. If you walk down the road toward the temple, you’ll probably smell what we’re making before you see the sign. It’s a simple setup and we plan to keep it that way. Malad West is where we started, but this spot is home now. It's just a regular kitchen for regular people.
