Fahad Polyclinic

You can find Fahad Polyclinic at 23 BDD Chawl on Devrukhar Road. It’s right in the Dadar East area. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always something happening outside our door. The clinic is on the ground level which makes it easy for older folks to walk in. We see a lot of people from the BDD Chawl and the surrounding streets. It’s a small place but we make the most of the space we have. The rooms are basic. We have a few chairs for waiting and a desk where we keep the patient files. Sometimes the tea seller from down the road stops by to say hello. We treat all kinds of general illnesses here. If you have a fever or a cold, or just need a consultation, this is where we are. Dadar East is a place where everyone is in a rush, but inside the clinic, we try to slow down a bit to listen to what’s wrong. It’s a community spot, really. We’ve known some of these families for many years now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the medicine and the care are what matter most. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Just the clinic and the people who work here to help out. If you're walking down Devrukhar Road, you’ll see our sign. We keep the doors open and just get on with the day’s work.
