You can find Erection & Instrumentation Engineers over at the Kamaldeep Industrial Estate. We are in unit 210, which is on Sonawala Cross Road No. 2 in Goregaon East. It is a typical industrial area, so there is always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. We have been here for a good bit of time now. The estate is quite large, but once you get to Sonawala road, it isn't too hard to spot the building. We spend our days dealing with all the technical bits and pieces that our job requires. It is not the cleanest work, so our clothes usually have a bit of dirt on them by the end of the shift. The office part of the unit is small, just enough space for a desk and some chairs. Most of the action happens out on the floor where the tools are. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy board of directors. It is just us workers making sure things get built and measured correctly. Goregaon East is a busy hub, and being in Kamaldeep puts us right in the heart of it. We like the grit of the place. It feels like a real working environment. We don't use big words to explain what we do; we just show up at Sonawala Cross Road and get to it. Some days are long, but that is just how it goes in this line of work.
