Our company, Enox / Pooja Hardware Pvt. Ltd., is based at C-5 in the Hind Saurashtra Industrial Estate. We are right on the Andheri-Kurla Road, near Marol Naka in Andheri East. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, and the traffic outside is almost always heavy. Our unit in the estate is where we keep all our hardware stock. It’s a large room filled with metal racks and heavy boxes. The air is often thick with the smell of grease and metal, which is normal for a hardware business. We have a small desk area near the entrance where we keep the ledgers and the computer, but most of our activity happens among the rows of products. Marol Naka is a convenient spot for us because it’s a hub for transport, even if it’s a bit loud and crowded. We have a small staff of people who have been with us for years. We eat our lunch together in the back when things quiet down for a bit. We don't bother with fancy displays; the products are what they are. If someone needs a specific hinge or a lock, we go find it in the stacks ourselves. The walls have some old calendars and posters on them, and the floor is scarred from years of moving heavy crates. It’s an honest, no-nonsense place to work. We just focus on keeping the stock levels right and getting orders out to the customers who need them every day without any fuss.
