If you ever find yourself in Vikhroli East, you’ll probably see the big Godrej One building at Pirojshah Nagar. We’re located on the 7th floor of Tower 7B. Endress + Hauser India Pvt Ltd has been here for a bit, and it’s a decent place to work. From our windows, you can see quite a bit of the area, though we’re usually too busy to look out much. We deal with industrial process engineering. Basically, we provide the instruments that measure things like flow, level, and pressure in factories. Our office is a mix of people in formal shirts and engineers who look like they’ve just come from a site visit. It’s a professional environment but it’s not stiff. We have our coffee breaks and chat about the commute or the weather just like anyone else. The building is quite modern, which is a bit of a contrast to the heavy industrial gear we talk about all day. We spend a lot of time on the phone with clients from all over India, trying to help them pick the right sensor for their specific tank or pipe. It’s not flashy, and sometimes it takes a while to explain the difference between two models, but it’s what we’re good at. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy pitches; we just try to be practical and get the job done. It's a lot of spreadsheets and technical data, but we like the precision.
