Dsilva Classes

We've been here at the Best Press Building for a while now. It's a busy part of Mumbai Central, right near the City Centre Mall. People usually find us easily because of that landmark. Dsilva Classes isn't a big fancy place, just some rooms where we sit down and get through the syllabus. We started this because we saw students in the neighborhood needed a spot to focus away from home distractions. It's often noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we keep it simple. Sometimes the lift acts up, so most of us just take the stairs up to the fourth floor. It’s a good workout anyway. We handle different subjects and help kids with their school work or college exams. There’s no huge staff here, just a few of us who know the subjects well. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most students come because their cousins or friends told them about us. We keep our schedules pretty tight because there's always a lot to cover before the board exams start. The benches are standard wooden ones, nothing too soft, but they do the job for a couple of hours of sitting. We keep a water cooler in the corner for when it gets hot in the afternoons. It’s just a regular place for regular students who want to pass their tests. If you’re walking from the station, it takes about ten minutes to get to the building.
