Our office is located on the ground floor of the Goldline Business Centre, which you can find in the Linkway Industrial Estate on Link Road in Malad West. Being on the ground floor is really helpful for us at Draeger Medical because we are always moving medical equipment in and out. The industrial estate is a busy place, and parking can be a real headache sometimes. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze of boxes and crates. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need for work. It’s a practical space where we test gear and manage our records. The traffic on Link Road is pretty much constant, so there is always a bit of background noise. We have a small crew and we’ve all been working together for a long time, so we don't need a lot of formal rules. We just know what needs to be done. We spend a lot of our time on the phone with hospitals and clinics. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important work and we take it seriously in our own way. We don't use any fancy marketing talk when we speak to people. We just tell them what equipment is available and when we can get it to them. It’s a very down-to-earth kind of place. We usually just have our lunch at our desks or go to a small shop nearby. It works for us.
