Dr Sushil Munshis Clinic

Our clinic is located at 306 on the 3rd floor of Doctor House, right on Peddar Road. If you know Mumbai Central, you know that this building has been a hub for doctors for a very long time. It has that old-fashioned charm, including an elevator that feels like it’s from another era and heavy doors that need a good push. Dr Sushil Munshi’s office is just one of many in the building, but we have our own little rhythm going on inside. The walls are lined with wooden cabinets that hold years of medical files. There isn't much space for wandering around, so we keep the desk and the patient area pretty close together. Outside on Peddar Road, the traffic is almost always crawling, so we hear the constant drone of cars and buses. The windows are old and they rattle slightly when a heavy truck passes by. We have a couple of lamps that give off a warm light because the overhead bulbs can be a bit too much in the afternoon. It is a very traditional medical setting, no fancy digital check-in kiosks or modern art on the walls. Most of the people who come here have been seeing the doctor for years. We just keep things simple, handle the appointments, and try to make sure the waiting room doesn't get too crowded. It’s a solid, old-school practice that does what it needs to do.
