Dr Sainani'S Clinic

Dr Sainani’S Clinic is on the fourth floor of Doctor House at 401. It is right on Peddar Road, directly opposite Jaslok Hospital. If you’ve been in this part of Mumbai, you know how iconic the Doctor House building is. It has been around for ages. The elevator is one of those old ones that takes its time, but it gets you there eventually. Inside, the clinic is straightforward. We have a wooden desk at the entrance where we keep the appointment book. It isn't digital or anything too complex; we just write things down. Dr Sainani is usually in the back room seeing someone while the rest of us manage the waiting area. It gets quite busy since we are so close to the big hospital. People often drop in because they are already in the area for other medical stuff. The windows look out toward the street, and you can hear the buses and cars honking all day. It’s just the background noise of Peddar Road. We have some old chairs that are still pretty comfortable for waiting. There isn't any fancy art on the walls, just some calendars and health charts. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the files tend to pile up a little. It’s a working clinic with a lot of history in these walls. We just take each patient as they come and do the work without any fuss or extra noise.
