Dr. Ramesh P Jain Clinic

Our clinic is located in Hansa Manzel at number 73 on August Kranti Marg, right at the busy Kemps Corner. It’s an older building, the kind with thick walls and high ceilings that you don’t see much of anymore. Dr. Ramesh P Jain has been here for years, and his office is full of things he’s collected over his career. To get here, you have to find the entrance on Gowalia Tank Road, which can be a bit tricky with all the traffic and people walking by. The waiting room has a few big, old-fashioned chairs that are quite heavy to move. There’s a balcony that looks out toward the intersection, and you can see the cars piled up at the light. We keep all our patient records in big metal cupboards that take up one whole wall. The clinic isn't very modern-looking, but it has everything we need to take care of the people who come in. Sometimes the doorbell sticks a little, so you have to give it a good push. Patients come from all over South Mumbai, but we also have regulars from right here in the neighborhood. It’s a quiet place once you’re inside, away from the noise of the street. We don’t use any fancy tech for check-ins, just a simple book where we write down names and times. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of doctor’s office where we just focus on seeing whoever walks through the door needing help.
