Dr. Parvez Sheikh

You can find me working out of Look Opticals at Pali Naka in Bandra West. The shop is in Sector 49 A, right near the Shiv Sagar Hotel. I’ve been practicing here for quite a while. It’s a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside the window. Inside, I spend my time doing eye exams and helping people pick out the right lenses. It’s a small space, so things are kept pretty simple. I have my equipment set up in the back and I spend most of my day sitting with patients. We talk about how their vision has been and I try to figure out what kind of help they need. Bandra is a diverse place, so I see all kinds of people, from kids to older folks who have been coming to this shop for years. I don’t use a lot of complicated medical talk. I just tell people what’s going on with their eyes in a way they can understand. We have a good selection of frames in the shop, so once the exam is done, they can look around. It’s a lot of "which one is better, one or two?" all day long. I enjoy the work and the people I meet. It’s a local business and we try to keep things friendly and straightforward. Some days are packed with appointments and others are a bit more relaxed, but I’m usually here from morning until the evening.
