Our clinic is tucked into 102 Mulji Apartments, A Wing, right on S V Road in Borivali East. If you’re familiar with S V Road, you know it’s one of the busiest spots you can find, especially near the Daulat Nagar Phatak. The trains are constantly passing by nearby, and you can almost feel the vibration when a fast one goes through. Living and working in Mulji Apartments means we are part of a real community. The clinic is on the first floor, so you don't have to go far up. It’s a converted apartment, which gives it a slightly cramped but cozy feeling. We have the usual stuff—a waiting area with some magazines that are probably a year old and a few chairs that we try to keep tidy. The walls are painted a light blue, but there are some scuff marks near the floor from all the people coming in and out. I sit in the main room with my medical bag and a small lamp on the desk. Most of our visitors are from the other wings of the apartment or the buildings just down the street. We deal with the usual coughs, aches, and general check-ups. It gets quite loud in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and the traffic on S V Road hits its peak. We just stay focused on the person sitting in front of us. It’s a busy life in Borivali, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
