Over in Bhandu West, our clinic sits in a spot that most locals can find without much trouble. Dr Jadhav Speciality Cosmetic Clinic isn't one of those big, shiny medical centers you see in the mall. It’s a more modest place where we focus on cosmetic work. The room where we see people has a big mirror and some bright lights so we can see everything clearly. We have a small desk where we keep all the records in paper files because that’s just how we’ve always done it. Bhandu can be quite noisy with the trains and the traffic, but inside the clinic, we try to keep things calm. Sometimes the tea lady from next door brings us a cup while we are between patients. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. People usually hear about us from their neighbors or family members. The chairs in the waiting area are okay, though the cushions are getting a bit thin. We spend a lot of time explaining things to people, just sitting and talking until they understand what is going to happen. It is a bit of a slow process sometimes, but we aren't in a rush. We just want to make sure everyone who walks out the door is satisfied with the visit. It is just a normal day-to-day business for us here in the west side of the suburb. We’ve been here a while now.
