You can find Dr Jadhav Skin Clinic at Shop No 3 in the Wagheshwari Darshan CHS. We are right opposite the Wagheshwari Mandir on Film City Road in Malad East. Being near the temple means we hear the bells and the general bustle of the devotees every day. The shop itself is small, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. There’s a small bench outside for when the waiting room gets too full, which happens more often than we’d like. Malad East is a busy place, and Film City Road always has cars and buses zooming past. Inside the clinic, it is a bit more peaceful. We deal with all kinds of skin stuff, from simple rashes to things that take longer to fix. The walls have a few posters about skin care, but mostly they are just plain. We don't have any fancy music playing or soft lighting. It is just a practical space where we look at skin problems and talk to the locals. A lot of our patients come by after visiting the mandir. We know most of the shopkeepers on this block too. It feels like a small community even though we are in a big city. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the first person to show up. It is honest work and we like being in this part of Malad East. The rain can be a bit much here sometimes, but we stay open.
