Our place is at number 12 in Marine Lines, right across from the old Liberty Cinema. If you’ve been to this part of Mumbai, you know it’s always moving and there’s a lot of history in these buildings. The clinic is in an older structure, which gives it a bit of character, even if the stairs are a little narrow. We get a lot of people coming in who have just stepped off the train or are walking over from the nearby offices. It’s a busy atmosphere with the sounds of the city constantly coming through the windows. Inside, we’ve got the consultation rooms set up simply. There isn't a lot of unnecessary stuff around, just the essentials for the patients. The waiting room is usually filled with the sound of the ceiling fan and people talking quietly. Dr. H R Jhunjhunwala has been seeing people here for quite a while, so there’s a lot of trust with the regulars. Sometimes the Mumbai rain makes things a bit damp, but we just mop the floors and keep going. We don't have a big marketing team, we just rely on people knowing where we are. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of clinic. We deal with whatever comes through the door, whether it’s a quick checkup or something more involved. It's just a part of the daily life here in Marine Lines. The city never really slows down, but we try to keep things calm.
