Dr. Daga Clinic

The clinic is located in Saneshwara Chawl, right near the S.P Bar and the Western Express Highway in Andheri East. If you know this area, you know how noisy it gets with all the trucks and cars zooming by on the highway. We’ve been operating out of this small space for a while. It’s not a huge fancy medical center, just a simple clinic where people from the chawl and nearby buildings come when they aren’t feeling well. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit cramped, especially on Monday mornings when everyone seems to have something wrong with them. We have a couple of chairs that have seen better days, and the fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving. My desk is usually covered in papers and old files because we still do a lot of things by hand here. The neighborhood is always alive, and we’re tucked right into the middle of it. You can hear the sounds of the street even when the door is shut. Most of the people who come in are regulars we’ve known for years. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s practical and it works for us. Getting here can be a pain with the traffic, but once you’re inside, it’s just a regular local clinic doing its thing every day and night for the people around here.
