You’ll find Dr Anils Pet Animal Clinic at 2 Bharat Singh Chs, right on the Jogeshwari Vikhroli Link Road in Jogeshwari East. If you know that road, you know it’s one of the busiest spots in Mumbai. There is always a constant hum of traffic from the JVLR, but inside the clinic, we’re focused on the animals. Our place is a small spot in the Bharat Singh building. It can get a bit noisy when a few dogs are waiting at the same time, but that’s just how it goes with a pet clinic. Jogeshwari East is a crowded area, so we have to make good use of the space we have. We see all kinds of pets coming through the door—mostly dogs and cats, but sometimes other small creatures too. The lobby isn’t huge, so things can feel a bit cramped on a Saturday morning. We have some posters of different animal breeds on the walls and a place for people to leash their dogs while they wait. Being on the Link Road makes it easy for people from both the east and west to reach us, though the traffic can be a nightmare sometimes. We’ve been here for a while and the local pet owners know us well. It’s a messy, loud, and honest kind of place where we just try to help the animals. Sometimes we run out of treats, but we always have water ready for the pets.
