Our workshop and office sit at Bpt Plot No. B/307 on Coal Bunder Road, right in the Darukhana area near Reay Road. If you’ve been down here, you know it’s a heavy industrial zone with lots of scrap metal and old ships. Douse Fire Systems Pvt. Ltd. fits right into the grit of this neighborhood. We spend our days surrounded by fire extinguishers, valves, and heavy piping. It’s a lot of manual work and checking equipment to make sure it actually works when it needs to. The air smells like salt and rusty iron because of the docks nearby. Our team is used to the noise of the trucks and the laborers working on the plots next to us. It isn't a clean, air-conditioned corporate suite. We get our hands dirty, and the floor is usually covered in some kind of metal dust or grease. We keep our records in a small cabin that stays relatively cool, but most of the action happens out where the gear is stored. We’ve been at this Reay Road spot for a long time and know most of the other shop owners around here. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly before we get back to loading the next truck. We don't do much in the way of advertising. People just know we are here when they need their systems checked or replaced. It’s just how things are done in this part of the city, and we are fine with that.
