Dilip Palkar

I’ve got my setup in Amol Society, specifically unit A2/2 on V.B. Phadke Marg. This is over in Mulund East, which is a nice part of Mumbai to be in. My name is Dilip Palkar, and I’ve been running this for quite a few years now. The society is a familiar place for me, and I know most of the people who live around here. I don’t have a big commercial showroom or anything like that. My office is just a simple room where I keep my records and do my work. I find that I don't need much more than that to get things done right. Mulund East has changed a lot, with new buildings going up all the time, but V.B. Phadke Marg still feels like home. I handle all the business stuff myself. I don't like dealing with middle-men or having a lot of employees to manage. It stays simpler when it’s just me talking directly to the people who need my help. I don’t spend money on advertising in newspapers or on the internet. Usually, someone just drops by because they saw the name or heard about me from a neighbor. It’s a slow and steady way to do things, but it works. I open up early and usually wrap things up by the evening. It’s just a normal job in a normal neighborhood, and I’m fine with that. No big stories, just work.
