Dhurandhar Obesity Clinic

Our clinic is tucked away in Santacruz West, over in the Sujata Building. We are in Block No 4, which is at 27/C. It is a bit of a walk from the main station area, but not too far. The building itself is quite traditional for this part of Mumbai. We mostly deal with people who are struggling with their weight. It's a serious thing, but we try to keep the atmosphere here pretty relaxed. There’s no big neon sign or anything like that. Just a small plate on the door. Inside, there are a few chairs and a desk where we do the paperwork. I’ve lived in this city a long time, and I know how hard it is to stay healthy with all the street food around. That’s why we’re here, I suppose. It’s quiet in the afternoons, which is nice. Sometimes the neighbors from the other blocks come by just to chat. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know the routine. The floors are plain tile and the walls are painted a light color that’s peeling a little in the corner. It feels like a real place, not some high-end spa. People come here because they want results, not a fancy waiting room. We just do our work and go home when the sun goes down. It's a decent way to spend the day in this part of town.
