Elegant Exports

If you look for the 6th Engineer Building down Dodi Santuk Lane, you’ll find us there. Elegant Exports is based right in the heart of Dhobi Talao, which is a place that never really stops moving. It’s a bit of an old-school area, and our building has that classic feel to it. Working here means dealing with a lot of noise and people moving about all the time. Our office isn't anything special to look at, but it works for what we need. We spend our days managing export orders and talking to people from all over. The lane outside is narrow, so we have to be careful about timing when we bring things in or send them out. It’s a lot of manual work, checking boxes and making sure the labels are all correct. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, but we just deal with it. We’ve got a small crew, and everyone knows what they’re supposed to do. We drink a lot of tea from the stall downstairs while we wait for the trucks. It’s a simple operation, really. We don’t bother with big speeches or anything like that. We just focus on the shipments. There’s always paperwork to fill out and phone calls to make to the docks. It’s a busy life in Dhobi Talao, but we’ve gotten used to the pace over the years. We just keep our heads down and work, making sure the cargo is ready.
