Dhiraj Shastri

Dhiraj Shastri is just a small setup we have here in Andheri East at A 502. It is not one of those fancy glass buildings you see in the pictures. It is a regular place where a few of us come every morning to get things done. The lift in our building is a bit slow and sometimes it makes a strange clunking noise, so we often just walk up the stairs instead. Our office has a few desks and a lot of books piled up in the corners. We try to keep things tidy but when we get busy, the papers just seem to multiply on every flat surface. The view from the window is mostly just other buildings and the tops of some dusty trees. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always spinning on high. We have a small kettle for making tea and coffee, which we do several times a day. Usually, someone brings in biscuits to share during the break. We don't have any big signs or posters on the walls, just a calendar and some notes tacked up. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working through various files on the computer. It is a simple way of working. We are not trying to be anything big or corporate. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and then head home.
