You can find Devika Astro Consultant over in Malad West at G 8 1. It’s a busy neighborhood, always something going on outside the door with people rushing to work or running errands. Our space is quite small, just a room really, where we can sit and focus on what needs to be done. It’s not a big corporate setup with a waiting room and magazines or a water cooler. We just have a couple of chairs and a table. Malad can be a headache with the traffic, so we usually tell people to give themselves extra time to get here if they are driving. We’ve been at this G 8 1 spot for quite a bit. It’s got a bit of a lived-in feel to it. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint eventually, but we’re more focused on the work we do inside. We don’t do any of that fancy branding stuff. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just walking past in the neighborhood and seeing our name. We keep odd hours sometimes depending on when people need to see us or when we have free time. It’s just how it goes when you’re doing this kind of thing. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, even if it’s noisy outside on the street with the horns honking. It’s just a local place for local people. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help the person sitting across from us. That’s how we’ve always done it here in Malad.
