We are over at 36-a P. L. Kale Guruji Marg. It’s just off Ranade Road and right across from the Bhandari Co-operative Bank in Dadar West. Dadar is always packed with people, especially near the bank, so it can be quite a struggle just to get to the office in the morning. Our place is simple and functional. We work on export stuff all day long. The room is a bit small for all the things we have in it, but we make it work. Since we are right on the Marg, we hear the buses and the hawkers all day. It’s a very local atmosphere. We have some old wooden desks and a few computers that have been around for a long time. There is no corporate vibe here; it feels more like a small family business. We spend hours on the phone talking to different agents and making sure the goods are moving. Sometimes the paperwork is a real headache, especially with all the different forms needed for Dadar West businesses. We just take our time and try not to make mistakes. If someone comes by, they usually just walk in and we talk over the counter. It is a practical way to run things and we like being in the heart of Dadar. The market nearby has good food so lunch is usually the best part of the day.
