You can find us at Darukhana, on the 6th Cross near Lakshmi Road. It’s an interesting part of town with a lot of history and old buildings. Our space is usually filled with sketches and scraps of paper. It’s a bit of a mess, to be honest, but that’s how we work best. We have these big wooden tables where we lay everything out. Sometimes we spend hours just talking about a single line or a specific color for a project. It’s not a sterile office environment. There are coffee stains on some of the desks and the shelves are always overflowing with samples. We don’t wear suits here. It’s more about being able to move around and get the work done. We’ve got some old lamps that give off a warm light in the evenings when we stay late. Most of the time we’re just hunkered down over our drawings or the computer. It’s a small team, so we all know each other’s habits and quirks. If the door is open, it means we’re busy but you can still come in. We don’t really do the whole corporate pitch thing with clients. We just show people what we’ve been working on lately. It’s honest work. We like the tactile feel of paper and pens. It’s a bit noisy outside with the traffic on Lakshmi Road, but we’ve gotten used to the sound. It’s just our little corner where we make things.
