Consolidated Engineering Services is located at 1, Qassim Cottage on Sussex Road. If you know Byculla East, you know this area has a lot of old charm and character. Our office isn't in a modern glass tower; it is in an older building that feels a bit more like a home. Qassim Cottage has been our base for some time now. Working here feels different than being in a sterile corporate park. The windows are large, but the street outside can get quite loud with the traffic on Sussex Road. We have our desks set up in the main rooms and a small area for storing our tools and drawings. Engineering work involves a lot of details, so we spend most of our hours looking at papers or typing away. We are a small crew, and we usually just eat lunch together at our desks or go to the little shop around the corner. The building has its quirks, like the occasional creaky floorboard or a door that sticks when the weather gets humid. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the entrance so people know they have the right place. Most of our days are spent coordinating with clients or checking on site progress from here. It is a humble place, but it serves us well for what we need to do. We prefer the quiet pace of Byculla compared to the busier parts of the city.
