Classic Cooling Systems

You can find us at Shop No-2/9 in the Mithailal Compound, which is over in Malad East. We are in the Kokni Pada area, specifically near the Santoshi Mata Temple. It’s a busy little neighborhood and you can usually hear the temple bells or the sounds of the local market from our shop door. We deal with cooling systems, so our shop is usually full of spare parts, copper pipes, and old units that we’ve taken apart. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is kept. Most of the time, we aren't even in the shop because we are out at someone's house or office trying to get their AC working again before they melt in the heat. Carrying heavy tools up and down those narrow stairs in Malad can be a real workout some days. When we are back at the compound, we spend time cleaning parts or trying to salvage what we can from older machines. It gets pretty sweaty in the shop during the summer months, which is ironic given what we do for a living. The Mithailal Compound has a lot of small businesses like ours, so there’s always someone to talk to if we’re taking a break. We just focus on getting the machines running so people can sleep better at night. It’s simple, practical work that keeps us on our toes every single day.
