Chirag Academy

Chirag Academy is right here in Mumbai at the Adenwala Building. It’s on J B Marg, really close to the Elphinstone Station, so students don't have a hard time finding us. We've been at this spot for a while now. The building is older, but it works for what we do. People mostly come by because they heard about us from a neighbor or a cousin. We keep things pretty simple in the classroom. It's just a few rooms where we sit down and go over lessons. There’s no big flashy sign or anything like that. Just some desks, chairs, and books. It gets a bit noisy outside because of the traffic near the station, but you get used to it. The focus is always on the work at hand. We see kids coming in after school, looking a bit tired, but they stay for a couple of hours to finish their notes. Sometimes we have to remind them to stay quiet in the hallways so we don't bother the other people in the building. It’s a busy area in Mumbai, but inside the academy, things are more controlled. We just try to help out with the syllabus and make sure everyone understands the basics before they leave for the day. If someone is struggling with a specific chapter, we just spend a bit more time on it. That’s how it goes here every day. It's just a regular place for learning. We keep our schedules taped to the door so everyone knows when to show up.
