Chheda Exports

We are over in Vile Parle East at Lumbini Palace on Tejpal Road. It’s a well-known building in this part of the suburbs. Chheda Exports has been here for a while now. The office is usually a bit cluttered with papers and samples because that’s just how we work. Tejpal Road gets quite a lot of traffic, especially with the station being nearby, so there is always a hum of activity outside. We are used to the sound of the trains and the cars by now. Inside, it’s mostly just a few of us sitting at our desks. We don’t have any fancy meeting rooms; we usually just talk across the desks or pull up a chair if someone visits. Being in Vile Parle is nice because there are plenty of places to grab a quick snack or a tea during the break. Our work is mainly export-related, so it’s a lot of logistics and timing. We spend a good chunk of our day on the computer or talking to suppliers. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We like the location because it’s easy for everyone to get to. The building is well-maintained, and we have a nice routine going. We just focus on getting the orders out and keeping the records straight. It’s a straightforward, local operation without any unnecessary bells and whistles. We just keep things moving along.
