Our place is located over in Powai, right near Silver Oak on B P C Road in the Akota area. It’s a mouthful of an address, but once you get here, it’s just a normal building. We go by Centre For Excellence In Telecom Technology & Management, which sounds quite formal, but inside we are just a bunch of people working. The commute to Powai can be a bit of a struggle during peak hours, so most of us try to get in early or stay a bit late to miss the worst of it. The Silver Oak landmark helps people find us since the road names can get confusing around here. The office has big windows, but they look out mostly at other buildings and a bit of the road. We’ve got some plants in the corner that someone remembers to water every now and then. There is always a stack of papers on the main table that needs sorting. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will probably be on a phone or typing away. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the side of the building. We just keep the curtains drawn and keep at it. B P C Road stays busy with trucks and cars, so there is a constant hum in the background. It is just a regular spot where we get our work done.
