We have been operating out of room 801 in the Sri Krishna building for a good while now. It sits right on the New Link Road in Andheri West, which is always a bit of a chaotic spot if you know the Mumbai traffic. Our day starts early, usually with a lot of noise coming from the street below. The office itself is pretty functional. We don’t have any of those fancy modern lounges or anything like that. It’s just desks, a lot of files, and people working on electrical components. We handle a lot of different tasks throughout the week. Sometimes it’s just answering phones and dealing with the logistics of getting parts moved around. Other times, we are deep into the technical side of the business. We have a small team here, so everyone knows what the other person is doing. It’s not the kind of place where we have big meetings every hour. We just talk over the partitions when something comes up. Lunch is often a shared affair or just a quick bite from one of the stalls nearby. The building is busy with other businesses too, so there is always someone in the elevator or walking the halls. We just focus on the work that needs to be done that day. It isn’t always glamorous, and the office can get a bit messy with all the samples and paperwork, but it’s where we get things sorted. We just keep things moving along as best as we can.
