You can find Bobson Engineers & Co. inside the Mathuradas Mill Compound over on N M Joshi Marg in Lower Parel. This area used to be full of old mills, and our workspace still has that old-school feel to it. We handle engineering jobs and repairs, mostly focusing on the technical side of things. It is a bit of a maze getting through the compound sometimes, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. The walls are a bit worn and there’s always a smell of grease and metal in the air. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a group of us who know how to fix things and work with machines. Lower Parel has changed a lot with all the new buildings and fancy offices, but inside this compound, things move at a different pace. We take on various projects, some small and some quite complicated. There is usually a lot of tea drinking while we figure out a tough problem. We don’t mind the noise from the trains nearby. It’s just how it is working in this part of Mumbai. We focus on getting the job done right so people come back when they have more work. It’s a practical way to run things, and it has worked for us so far. We don't really bother with social media or fancy websites, because our hands are usually too dirty to be typing anyway.
