My office is located on the third floor of the Sai Building. It’s a bit of an interesting spot because we are right opposite the Bandra Talao, which is a nice landmark for people trying to find us. Even though the address mentions Thaltej and Bhaikaka Nagar in Ahmedabad, we are actually operating right here in the Bandra West area. Being on the third floor means people have to use the stairs or the lift, and it gets a bit quiet up here away from the street noise. I’ve been practicing here for quite some time now. It isn't a massive hospital or a shiny clinic with marble floors. It’s just a regular space where I see patients who have been coming to me for years. Sometimes people get a bit confused finding the entrance to Sai Building because the street can get crowded, especially near the lake. We don’t have a big staff, maybe just a couple of people to help with the appointments and the files. My desk is usually covered in papers and medical journals. I prefer it that way. It feels more like a real place where people can just come and talk about what’s bothering them. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for the neighborhood. We see all sorts of people every day, and each one has a different story. I just try to listen and help out as best as I can without making things too complicated.
