Our office is located in the Ballard Estate area, specifically inside Dubash House on 15J. N. Heredia Marg. If you are familiar with this part of Mumbai, you know it is full of those heavy, old stone buildings that have been standing for a very long time. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of history in the walls, and we have been based here for quite a while now. The space itself feels very lived-in. We have high ceilings and some old wooden desks that have certainly seen better days, but they still serve their purpose just fine. Working in this part of the city means we have to deal with the heat and the very narrow streets, but the area has a character that you just do not find in those new glass buildings. We spend most of our time dealing with technical paperwork, talking to our clients on the phone, and keeping track of various engineering projects. It is not a glamorous job. Sometimes the old elevator in our building stops working, and we all have to take the stairs, which can be a bit of a climb. We have a mix of staff here, including some who have worked with us for thirty years and some who just started. We do not really go in for any corporate decorations inside. It is mostly just rows of shelves filled with folders and people trying to stay busy with their daily tasks.
