Our office is located at Marine Lines, in the Standard House building. We work with stainless steel and have been in this trade for many years now. Being on the second floor at Maharshi Karve Road means we are right in the middle of a very busy part of Mumbai. It’s an old building, but it works for us. Most of our day is spent on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on orders for customers. We handle different types of steel products, mostly for industrial use. It isn't a showroom where you just walk in and browse. Usually, people call us with specific requirements for their projects, and we see what we can do. The traffic outside is always loud, but you get used to it after a few months. We are a small team here, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up the shipping documents or to talk to someone in a different time zone. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just buy and sell steel and try to make sure the deliveries happen on time. It is a straightforward business without much fuss. We've been at this address for a long time and the tea stall downstairs knows our order by heart. It is just how we have always operated and it seems to work out fine.
