Barkat Exports

We are located at A/2/15 in the Avilion Greenfield building, which sits right on the Jogeshwari Vikhroli Link Road in Andheri East. If you’ve ever driven on the JVLR, you know the traffic is something else, especially during the monsoon when everything just slows down to a crawl. Barkat Exports operates from this small office, and we spend a lot of our time watching the cars go by while we wait for deliveries. The office isn't very large, so we have to stay organized, or the whole place starts to feel like a warehouse full of paper. We handle a lot of export details here, which means there’s a lot of checking and double-checking numbers. The building itself is decent, though the elevators can be a bit temperamental sometimes, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and there’s always something happening outside. We don’t really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine and keep things moving. We don’t do much in the way of advertising; we just focus on the work on our desks. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, and the sound of the road outside starts to fade a bit. It’s a straightforward life, mostly focused on getting things where they need to go. We keep the kettle going and just get on with the daily tasks.
