We operate out of unit 252 in the Shanti Industrial Estate, which is located in Mulund West. Bapat Controls And Equipments Pvt Ltd has been in this particular spot for several years now. The industrial estate is a huge place and it can be quite easy to get lost if you don't know the unit numbers. There’s a constant sound of metal clanging and engines running from all the neighbors. Our unit is quite large with high ceilings, which helps keep it a bit cooler. We have a lot of testing equipment and workbenches spread out across the floor. It’s not a polished environment by any means. There are grease marks on the walls and the floor has seen better days. We don't have a reception area or anywhere fancy for guests to sit. Usually, we just pull up a stool if someone stops by. It’s a very busy, hands-on type of place. Mulund (W) is a good location because it’s easy to get transport for our supplies. We work hard during the day and usually head out as soon as the shift is over. The team is small and we’ve all known each other for a long time. We don't use any fancy corporate titles. Everyone just does what needs to be done. It’s a practical, hardworking workshop. We like the way things are set up here.
