Rawji Exports

Our office for Rawji Exports is inside the Ashok Silk Mills Compound which is situated on the Sion Bandra Link Road in Sion West. It is an industrial kind of place with a lot of big warehouses and small workshops all around us. There are always trucks coming and going, so you have to be careful when you are walking through the compound. The office is tucked away in 144 and it has a very practical feel to it. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving boxes around and the floor is concrete. We have a few desks and a lot of storage space for the things we handle. It can get quite noisy with the sound of machinery from the neighboring units, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We take our lunch breaks together and usually talk about the cricket scores or the news. The Sion Bandra Link Road is always packed with cars, so we see the traffic jams from our gate. It’s a hardworking environment where everyone is busy with their own tasks. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because we would rather focus on making sure the work is done correctly. It is a bit of a gritty area but it suits us just fine for the kind of work we do. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards at the gate know us all by sight.
