Bab E Shifa

Bab E Shifa is our shop at number 196 on Ebrahim Merchand Road. We are situated in Masjid Bunder West, right across from the Co Operative Bank. If you are coming from the Nashik Road side, it is pretty easy to spot us. The shop isn't very big, but we pack a lot into the space we have. It is a very busy street, so there are always people walking by and scooters honking in the traffic. We mostly deal with small goods and everyday items that people in the neighborhood need. I spend most of my day standing behind the counter talking to customers and checking the stock. It is a lively way to make a living. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. The building is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We do not have a website or a big brand name. We just focus on serving the people who live and work around Masjid Bunder. Sometimes it gets really crowded in the shop, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We just take it one customer at a time. It is a simple life and a simple business. We know the regular faces and we know what they usually want before they even ask. It is just how things go around here on Ebrahim Merchand Road.
