As A Testing Engineer

I work as a testing engineer from my home at A/303 Vinayak, Devyani No. 2. It’s in Shakti Nagar, over in the Dahisar East area of Mumbai. My job is basically to find things that are wrong with software or hardware before they go out to users. I spend hours running the same tests over and over to see if I can make something break. It takes a lot of patience because sometimes you don't find any bugs for a long time, and then you find ten at once. Living in Dahisar means I’m a bit away from the main rush of South Mumbai, but it’s still plenty busy around here. My apartment is where I have my testing lab set up with different devices and screens. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for what I need to do. I’ve lived in Mumbai for years, so I’m used to the small spaces and the constant noise outside. People might think testing is boring, and some days it is, but it’s also important. I just sit here with my coffee and my test scripts, going through the lists. I don't have a team under me or any fancy corporate goals. I just want to make sure the stuff I check is working right. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just me and my electronics in Shakti Nagar. I keep to myself and focus on the work at hand.
