Arya Clinic

We spend most of our time at Arya Clinic inside Shop No 5, which is on the ground floor of the A Wing in the Veena Sur Building. Being in Mahavir Nagar means there is always something going on outside. If you know the area, we are quite close to Panchsheel Garden, so sometimes you can hear the birds or the general noise from people out for a walk. Kandivali West is a busy place, and our little corner reflects that. The shop itself isn't massive, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space. The floor is easy to clean, which is good because people track in all sorts of things from the street. We’ve got a few chairs lined up for people waiting. It can get a bit crowded on rainy days when everyone wants to stay dry, but we make it work. Most of our neighbors in the building know us by now. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or high-tech; we just stay open and do what needs to be done. The light coming in through the front door is usually the best part of the afternoon. We usually have the radio on low, just enough to fill the silence between patients. It’s a practical place for practical people. We don't spend much on decorations, just a calendar and maybe a clock that runs a few minutes fast. It’s home for us during the day.
