We’ve been here in Vikhroli East for a while now. The shop is over in Group No 2, Tagore, specifically in A Block No 304/3814. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. People usually come by when their cars start making noises or just need the oil looked at. Dealing with engines is just what we do every day. Sometimes it gets greasy and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep it. It’s part of the job. We see a lot of the same neighbors coming in. There’s always someone stopping by to ask a question while we’re working under a hood. The traffic around Tagore can be a bit much in the mornings, but we open up early enough to get a head start on the day's work. It’s not a big fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. We keep our tools organized as much as possible, though things go missing right when you need them. That's how it goes when you're busy. We just focus on the vehicles that come in and try to get them back on the road. It’s straightforward work. No one here wears a tie or anything like that. We just wear what gets dirty and stay until the last car is sorted for the day. You can hear the trains passing nearby if the shop gets quiet. We usually have some tea from the guy around the corner while we look at an engine problem. It’s just us here in the block.
