Being this close to the docks means we are always around the hustle of the shipping industry. It’s a gritty part of town, always loud with the sound of trucks and ships. Our office is a simple place where we handle offshore solutions for various clients. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or decorations because most of our work happens out there or involves a lot of technical coordination. The air smells like salt and diesel from the harbor. We spend a lot of time dealing with logistics and making sure supplies are ready for the boats. It’s a small team here. We know the dock workers and the customs people by sight. Sometimes the paperwork gets overwhelming, especially with all the regulations involved in offshore work, but we just take it one page at a time. We don't try to sound like a massive global corporation. We’re just a bunch of people who know this specific industry well and have set up shop where the action is.
