Afc Designing A New World

Afc Designing A New World is based in the Shubhraj Building on Ram Maruti Road. Our specific spot is 17/3. If you’re familiar with Dadar West, we’re located right by the Shivaji Park Police Station. It’s a very recognizable landmark, so people rarely get lost trying to find us. The area is full of life, especially with the park so close by where people go for walks or to play cricket. Our office is an older space, typical for this part of Mumbai. We do design work, but the office itself is pretty cluttered with papers, pens, and different materials we’ve collected over time. It’s not the kind of "new world" design studio you might see in a magazine. It’s just a room where we sit and think about things and try to put them on paper or the screen. We have been here for quite a while now and we appreciate the local atmosphere of Dadar. The sounds of the traffic and the people outside are constant, but it feels like part of the work day. We usually walk down the street to grab lunch at one of the local spots nearby. There’s no big corporate structure here, just a few people who enjoy making things. We don't have fancy meetings or anything like that. People just drop by or call us when they need something done. It's a simple, honest way to spend the day in a part of the city we really like.
