This office is located at G 6 in the Teen Dongri Police Officers Quarters in Goregaon West. Mumbai is a crowded city, and Goregaon is no different. Being situated near the police quarters gives the area a bit of a specific feel. It’s not your typical commercial business park setup. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easy to step in and out. The space is a bit compact, as you would expect in this part of Mumbai, but we make it work. There’s a constant hum of traffic from the nearby roads, and you can always hear the city moving outside. Inside, we have got our computers and some filing cabinets that are getting a bit full. The lighting isn't the most modern, but it's bright enough for us to see what we are doing. We spend our days here handling various tasks and keeping things moving. We don't have a big reception area or anything fancy like that. It’s just a room where people sit and work. Most of the staff here take the local train or buses to get to Goregaon West, so we are all very familiar with the daily Mumbai hustle. We share a few laughs over tea in the afternoons and then get back to the work. It’s a very honest, no-frills kind of environment. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and that is about it for our day-to-day life here.
