Ankita Overseas

Our business is situated in the Gundecha Industrial Complex, specifically in unit 331. It’s located on Akurli Road in Kandivali East. Being in an industrial complex means there is always a lot of activity—delivery vans coming and going, people moving crates, and the general sound of industry. We’ve been here at Ankita Overseas for a good stretch of time. The office is basically one large room partitioned into smaller sections for different tasks. It’s not the quietest place, but it feels like work is actually happening, which we like. Akurli Road can get quite congested, especially near the highway, so we’ve learned to plan our day around the traffic. Inside the office, things are pretty casual. We don't have a dress code or anything like that. We just focus on the overseas trade details and making sure all the paperwork is in order. There’s a lot of back-and-forth with different agents and shipping lines. Sometimes we have a little trouble with the internet connection, but we manage. We keep a stash of biscuits and a kettle in the corner for when the afternoons get long. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense kind of setup. We aren't a big corporation, just a dedicated team working out of a solid industrial space in Kandivali. It’s what we know and it works for us.
